Under direction from the PREP project manager and PI, this position will be primarily responsible for the day to day management of the operations of JHU NIST PREP. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager at the WSE CGPO office in Columbia, MD.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate the student application process:
Process student applications
Oversee the placement process
Track students’ progress
Monitor compliance with reporting requirements
Manage the financial component of the JHU NIST PREP program:
Monitor budget expenses
Perform budget reconciliation
Communication and marketing plan execution
Coordination with other JHU units (student services, international services)
Compile metrics for reporting and prepare reports on the general progress of the program
Update position announcements on the website
Market the program to ensure maximum participation and liasoning with our partner universities
Manage former participant tracking
Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory):
High School Diploma/GED.
Three years progressively responsible related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Five years progressively responsible related experience.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must be very detailed oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral as well as written
Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills
Must be able to work independently as well as work with a tem to complete projects in a timely manner to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must possess strong problem-solving skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks under pressure
Ability to understand and support organizational goals and apply knowledge to achieve department goals
Experience in conference administration, DoD security, and information technology preferred
