The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) School of Pharmacy has an opening for a Program Manager of Engagement to work with their PATIENTS Program. Reporting to the Director of Research, this position is responsible for developing and executing the engagement strategy for the PATIENTS program and related projects.

Collaborate with the PATIENTS Program leadership to design and execute engagement plans for events and research projects.
Collaborate with the PATIENTS leadership team to design evaluation strategies for patient and stakeholder engagement
Develop appropriate engagement success metrics and benchmarks and provide relevant reporting to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, funding agencies and community groups.
Develop marketing and communications plans aimed to drive attendance and participation in each event.
Develop new methodologies of capturing participant contact information to ensure it is quickly and accurately entered into the appropriate database system.
Oversee and assist with administrative functions such as development of policies and procedures and drive continuous improvement in consistent use of standard operating procedures
Assist with grant preparation and reporting.
Supervise engagement staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience with event or conference planning, experience with working with research grants and contracts & implementation.
Supervisory: Two (2) years of direct management experience

Excellent project management and organizational skills: ability to plan and manage multiple events simultaneously
