The Department of Visual Art & Design at the University of South Carolina Beaufort seeks a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Media Arts, well-grounded in the visual arts, to teach digital animation, video game design, and narrative media; teaching skills in graphic design will be considered an additional asset.

The Department of Visual Art & Design is a small but comprehensive program offering the studio arts, including media arts, and art history on the beautiful historic Beaufort campus, a top five fastest growing US undergraduate public university 2005 – 15.

The successful applicant should be adaptable, qualified, and able to teach the above courses along with department and university service, and continue professional artistic development. Minimum qualifications are an MFA in Media Arts.
