The Program Director is responsible for the success of member (customer) programs and initiatives designed to improve member value and drive increased growth and retention. This experienced leader will serve as a thought partner to our members and must draw on experience, skills, and influence to anchor focus, orient goals, and navigate decisions needed to deliver great outcomes.
This is a full-time staff position, reporting to the vice president of membership and operations. The R-CISC has a primarily remote work environment. Preference will be given to candidates with remote work experience. Successful candidates will have dedicated space for remote work at home, ability to work from our office in the Washington D.C. metro area at least one day per week, and available to travel within the U.S. and/or Canada for various client visits and events four or more times per year.
Superior communication skills and the ability to craft and articulate a clear, compelling, and consistent vision for our member-driven programs and initiatives
Experience and presence to establish yourself as a partner and collaborator to CXO executives and technical practitioners
Ability to clarify problems, scope the mission, and harness member participation to drive working groups/programs/initiatives
Monitor, iterate, and lead programs
Develop and deliver the analytics/metrics needed to clarify opportunities and track program performance/outcomes
Gain insights and build connections with stakeholders in information security, information technology, industry trade associations, government, and law enforcement
Secure commitment and buy-in from internal stakeholders and members to drive program success
Build and implement a consistent, repeatable framework for managing programs and maximizing member value

Proven experience (3+ years) owning and executing CXO programs
Demonstrated ability to maximize client value
5+ years business experience in an agile, fast-paced environment
Knowledge of lean thinking/methodology
Natural curiosity that fuels growth, understanding and ability to “connect the dots” on alignment of programs/initiatives with other efforts
Strong time and project management skills
Driven to perform, willing to put in the effort, and strong sense of accountability/ownership
Experience in one or more of the following: Advisory, Consulting, Customer Experience Delivery
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Nice to have:
Established relationships in information technology/information security field
Familiar with Salesforce CRM
