Provides leadership, day-to-day project oversight, and supervision over assigned sustainability programs, projects and project teams. Plans, manages, and coordinates all aspects of sustainability programs and/or projects under general supervision of the Department Chief. Activities include program management, project management, and portfolio management. Ensures program and project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames, scopes, and funding parameters. Monitors program operations and sustainability effectiveness through performance objectives and annual benchmark reporting.

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in Business Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, or a closely related field.
Minimum of five years of professional exempt-level experience in conservation and sustainability, working with or within transit and/or transportation. Qualifying experience to include program management, project management, budgeting and fiscal management, securing resources to support projects and programs, and contract management; or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
Certifications and/or licenses to be completed within the first two years of hire:
Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
