The Marketing Manager, Copy and Graphic Design is responsible for producing compelling blast emails, flyers, signage, and digital content supporting The Society’s educational products and member communications. This is a pivotal role within the Marketing and Public Education Department.
Three to five years’ experience in producing blast email and other digital copy and design projects.
Experience with Photoshop for email design and Campaign Monitor, our email platform, for delivery.
College degree or equivalent work experience in copywriting and graphic design.
Advanced skill in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are required, HTML experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement marketing plans/materials for symposia and our annual Aesthetic Meeting.
Produce creative and persuasive copy promoting our symposia, the annual Aesthetic Meeting, various products and services and specific issues of interest to our members.
Create and deploy email blasts to promote our symposia and annual Aesthetic Meeting, averaging two per week.
Work closely with symposia Chair’s and Senior Director of Education to ensure their needs and the Society’s strategic objectives are met.
Create and deploy email blasts designed to promote ASAPS products such as ANN, SAC, RADAR Education on Demand, Membership, on an as-needed basis.
Maintain an email calendar to ensure strategic objectives are fulfilled, with little overlap of multiple emails at one time.
Coordinate all internal email blast requests, to ensure look/tone/feel, and receive the proper approvals on each, prior to delivery.
Pull strategic email lists for each blast through the Society’s AMS program.
Track email campaign KPI’s and provide reports as requested.
Develop and maintain quality graphic design standards within the parameters established for use of the Society’s name and brand.
Stay abreast of the latest email techniques and trends to ensure high open and response rates.
Write and edit articles, as needed, for the quarterly Aesthetic Society News print publication.
Work the Society’s annual Aesthetic Meeting, which takes place in a different city each spring. Duties during The Aesthetic Meeting TBD.
