Come and be a part of our transformation! The Chicago Architecture Center (CAC) is the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s new home and a hub for everything architecture in Chicago. The CAC will be a gateway for our docent-led tours, exciting programs and imaginative, new interactive exhibits including the expanded, popular Chicago Model. The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in the success of the CAC's marketing plan, providing support for partnerships and cross-promotions, Open House Chicago, and digital marketing.
Partnerships and Cross-Promotions
Work with partners like Choose Chicago, MagMile Association, and Loop Alliance to promote the CAC through attending meetings, submitting events for calendar listings and updating CAC info on partner websites.
Collaborate with Tourism Sales team on creation and fulfillment of hotel partnerships.
Open House Chicago
Coordinate the creation, execution, and implementation of marketing plan.
Act as Marketing liaison to the OHC presenting sponsor.
Lead the development and creation of the annual OHC report.
Work with New Media Coordinator on planning the email communications calendar and develop email communications using WordFly.
Manage asset collection and message approval process with internal partners.
Collaborate with the web team to design templates and graphics for emails.
Work with other departments to expand list segmentation and growth.
Work with New Media Coordinator to provide analysis on digital marketing effort.
Departmental Marketing Support
Provide marketing guidance, expertise and support to Education department, CAC venue rental team, and Retail partner team (including web, social, traditional marketing).
Assist Vice President of Marketing with providing marketing support to Tours and Development.
Coordinate meetings and materials for Docent Marketing Committee and Board Marketing Committee.
Provide support to Marketing Manager in developing, executing and managing marketing budget.
Other duties as required.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
2-4 years professional experience
Experience with Tessitura preferred
Experience with WordFly, or other direct mail provider
Skills and Attributes
Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite, web-based programs, and databases
Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and manage time
Ability to work successfully in team environments
