The Digital Tools Leader will inventory the tools in the CPS lifecycle to include things such as configurator application, engineering tools, etc. They will work with the Business Units to understand differentiating capabilities, facilitate the review of tools available in the market and lead the implementation with the Business support. Will oversee the development, design implementation and execution of systems and tools across CP&S businesses and collaborate with internal and external teams to execute the roadmap and support implementation with demos, training, and insights. More broadly, the incumbent will build credibility with the Business Units and stakeholder teams to foster adoption and serve as go-to subject matter expert throughout the engineering lifecycle on this key tool as well as other technical resources required to run our business with excellence. As part of execution, this role will coordinate with vendor and internal resources to oversee execution efforts, gather necessary information, and obtain review and feedback on proposed materials during the development process.
Develop and Support Implementation of a strategy deployment (Roadmap) for digital tools
Facilitate conversations with stakeholders such as customers, business and IT to assess and prioritize potential functionalities
Be part of the execution of overall product strategy, creating impactful roadmaps to address real customer and business opportunities
Drive continuous innovation in enablement programs and tools to enhance overall excellence across the Business Units to maximize the value of the CP&S Operations contribution to the overall company strategy
Support building strong cross-functional knowledge of the Business Units and Process available to support Plans, acting as a liaison between IT, Business Management.
Leverage insights from tools and understanding of their role/function to offer feedback and direction to support the group
Ensure the tools are aligned/compliance with other IT Systems/tools across the company
Provide leadership and oversight of Plan training and interactions in support of stronger understanding and utilization of tools
Serve as Product Owner for Configure Price Quote/ Engineering to Order Tools Capability team.
Serve as a positive role model for both managed staff and associates throughout Rockwell and demonstrate leadership behaviors, promoting collaboration and organizational agility, and delivering on business commitments
This position is based in Milwaukee, WI HQTRS however, it could be worked from any of our US offices or remotely in the USA (except Alaska and Hawaii).
