The S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the Bandier Program for Music and Recording Industries, to start August 19, 2019. The successful candidate will teach classes on the modern music industry, ideally with particular focus on the industry's cutting-edge digital aspects, such as streaming, data, and social media marketing.
Candidates must have significant professional experience in the music business, ideally in sales and distribution to digital services, or as a digital/social media marketer. Regardless of background, candidates will demonstrate:
