The objective of the role is to manage and provide analytical insight of distribution costs related to five year plan, budget, reforecast and monthly accounts. Manage customer service function as it relates to distribution.
Key accountabilities
Maintain and reconcile accounts and create budget and forecast models.
Monitor changes in the postal, publishing and distribution industries and negotiate vendor costs accordingly.
Create special reports and studies to analyze affects of alternate delivery routes, revised print order and paginations, additional print sites, etc.
Manage the day to day responsibilities of the Distribution
Customer Service Coordinator.
Analyze delivery trends to target improvement and work closely with post offices and delivery agents to achieve those improvements.
Provide assistance as required for Production and
Distribution Director and Distribution Logistics Manager.
Requirements
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Financial analyst – 4 years experience
Customer service – 2 years experience
Management – 2 years experience
Time sensitive distribution (domestic and international)
Postal affairs
Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Analytical, numerate, detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive problem solver
Strong computer skills to manage and create detailed spreadsheet models
