Job Description
Sales, client/agency & trade relationships in the Travel Industry, with direct account list responsibilities. Sales Mangement responsibility for various "Category" and "Market" sales professionals: New York based & outer offices. Across all sales responsibilities: Acquire new advertisers; increase current advertiser revenue & minimize attrition. Work with & support the Publisher's management needs such as business reporting; pricing; layout; revenue & profit goals for Departures & Black Ink. Perform other job related duties.


Requirements
In depth Travel Industry expertise & relationships; minimum 7 years ad sales / general management experience. Proven leadership skills, superior written and oral communication, presentation and business reporting skills; Proven ability to interact with Senior Management levels, both internal and external. Excellent strategic, analytic and decsion making skills; Understand financial goals of the magazines and work with internal and external reps to achieve them; Strong interpersonal skills that foster team collaboration and motivates everyone to achieve business success and personal gratification and development in their jobs.
