House Beautiful magazine seeks a Fall Design Intern to join our marketing department. As part of a streamlined (and fun) team, our intern has the opportunity to become intricately involved in the day-to-day activities that contribute to House Beautiful’s unmatched success and will walk away with comprehensive knowledge of the magazine publishing industry, a wealth of experience and a strong portfolio.
Responsibilities Include: • Provide general support for marketing department • Assist with design and layout of marketing materials and in-book pages • Prepare materials industry and consumer events (invitations, agendas, signage) • General organizing to help our fast-paced environment run smoothly

Requirements: • Enthusiasm for and sincere interest in magazine promotions • Positive attitude –no job too small! • Must be for school credit • Must have working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop • Be able to work independently
